Quillstall documentation

Quillstall is a complete sales page and ad studio service for small sellers. This guide walks you through setup and daily use. Questions? Email admin@007aj.com.

1. Setup

  1. Upload the theme zip in Appearance > Themes > Add New > Upload and switch it on.
  2. In Settings > Permalinks choose Post name and save. This makes the /start/, /app/ and /plans/ addresses work.
  3. Open Quillstall > Settings and go through the tabs.
  4. Optional: in the Demo content tab click Add sample content to see five example pages (one is a book), ads, orders and leads.

Quillstall makes a Seller role. Sellers use the front-end dashboard at /app/ and never see WordPress admin.

2. Payments (Stripe)

In the Payments tab paste your Stripe publishable key (pk_…) and secret key (sk_…) from the Stripe dashboard under Developers > API keys. Use test keys first: card 4242 4242 4242 4242, any future date, any CVC.

Card payments for buyer orders go into the Stripe account you enter here. If you run Quillstall for other sellers, arrange how you pass their sales to them.

3. Seller plans

The Seller plans tab sets the free Starter plan limits (pages and AI uses each month) and the Monthly and Yearly plan amounts. Sellers subscribe from their dashboard's Plan tab through Stripe. They can stop renewing at any time; the plan stays on until the paid period ends.

4. AI accounts

Insights, ad copy and AI backgrounds use your own AI account. In the AI writer tab enter the service address (any OpenAI-compatible address such as https://api.openai.com/v1), your token and the model names. Without an account, a built-in writer still fills in good starting text so nothing is blocked.

5. For sellers

  1. Sign up at /start/, or log in at /app/.
  2. New page: paste a link to your product on any shop and click Fill in for me. The name, price, description and picture are copied in. Check them, add benefits and questions, then save.
  3. Choose how buyers order: card, pay later, both, or just questions (leads).
  4. Share your page link. New orders and leads show in Overview with notifications, and by email if you turn that on.
  5. Orders: open an order to see the details and set its status. Leads: mark each question done when you reply.

6. Ads studio

7. Book mode

For authors who sell books on Amazon. On the edit screen tick This is a book (sellers who mostly sell books can make that the default in Settings). Add the author, series, formats (ebook, paperback, hardcover), page count, genre, the Amazon listing link from any Amazon store and, if you like, the ASIN or ISBN. Use Short tagline for the subtitle and upload the front cover as the photo.

8. Tracking

Every saved ad has its own link. Clicks on that link, orders and sales that follow are counted in the ad table, so you can see which ads work.

9. Ad account connection (optional)

Off by default. To let sellers send saved ads to their Facebook and Instagram ad account, create an app at developers.facebook.com, then in the Ad account tab switch it on and enter the app ID and secret. Add yoursite.com/app/?tab=settings as a valid redirect address in that app. Ads are created paused, so nothing spends money until the seller turns them on in their ad account.

10. Avatar video (optional)

Off by default. In the Avatar video tab switch it on and enter the address and token of your avatar video service. Sellers then get a video panel in the studio that writes a short script and makes a talking video.

11. FAQ

The /app/ page shows "not found". Save Settings > Permalinks once.

An order stayed unpaid. The buyer may have closed the Stripe page before returning. Check the payment in Stripe and set the order status by hand.

Can I close sign-ups? Yes. A developer can add add_filter( 'qst_open_signup', '__return_false' ); to a small child theme.
